Understand what is being asked

AI for homework
The Famil·IA Homework mode is designed to accompany reasoning with clues, examples and questions. The goal is for the child to be able to continue on his or her own.
An immediate response may complete a task, but it does not guarantee that the concept is understood. An AI for homework provides more value when it discovers which part is difficult, remembers the necessary idea, and allows the student to take the next step.
Famil·IA includes the guideline “Clues before solutions”. In a question about fractions, for example, you can start by checking if the denominators are the same, provide a visual representation, and ask the child to identify the first step. You do not need to complete the entire operation to be useful.
Rephrasing the problem in simple words allows us to separate the instruction from the data.
A brief explanation or an everyday example activates knowledge that the child already has.
The clue points to the next step without completing all the steps that come after it.
Asking them to explain what they have done helps to detect whether they really understood it.
The prototype offers spaces for Homework, Reading, English, Mathematics, Programming and other activities. The way of accompanying can change: compare two ideas in reading, practice a phrase in English or divide a programming problem into small parts.
Use mental drawings, everyday quantities and short steps before calculating.
Ask about characters, intent, and clues in the text instead of writing up the entire analysis.
Practice a structure with examples and allow the child to construct their own sentence.
Explain what each part does, locate the error and propose a small check.
The family dashboard allows you to adjust the age, modes and guidelines. The family can decide to keep answers brief, use everyday examples, or remember to offer clues rather than solutions. Thus, the educational criterion does not depend only on how the child formulates each question.
Famil·IA is a support tool and does not replace teaching, personal practice or dialogue at home. You can also make mistakes: contrasting information and explaining in your own words are still essential parts of learning.
The Homework mode approach prioritizes helping to understand. It can explain procedures and examples, but the guidelines are aimed at not just delivering the result.
No. The prototype includes reading, English, mathematics, programming and other spaces, in addition to the general Homework mode.
No. The public web uses predefined examples to show the approach and is not connected to the home AI.
